Shivtej Health and welfare organization was formed in the year 1994. The society has its presence in the entire state of Maharashtra and has been a medium of welfare with regards to various activities in the state. For the past 16 years the organization has been contributing in the field of social, educational, cultural and sport.

Providing employment assistance to the unemployed the organization also gives vocational training. Ambulance service, eye care and free distribution of spectacles, free cataract operations, health check up, dental care and many such health related camps organized by the organization provide free services to the needy section of the society.

The organization has also establishment an old age home at Khed in the Ratnagiri District. Through the old age home the organization endeavors to serve the elderly in accordance with their aim to provide relief to the needy segment of the society.

In the Taluk of Khed based at Zamge village the organisation has established a military school by the name of 'Chatrapati Sambhaji Raje Military School'. The school imparts military education to the students. Horse Riding, Drill, Marksmanship, Karate, Swimming and many such activities are conducted. The School also as a well equipped gymnasium and a library to provide a holistic education to its pupils.

The organization has also established Yogita Dental College in Khed Taluk, which is the first dental college in the entire Konkan Division. The college has a well equipped campus along with world class faculty in order to produce the finest Doctors in Konkan.

Various commemorative statues to remember the contributions of the people who fought for our country has been erected by the organization.

The organization has also erected grand statue of Shivaji Maharaj on the Mumbai-Goa highway. A statue of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar also has been raised at the Khed Nagarpalika.

Based in Kandivali Mumbai the Zagdu Singh Thakur Park has also been developed by the organization. Mobile Vans to help reach doctors reach and provided medical care in rural areas have been provided by the organization to provide free dental care.

The Shivtej Health and welfare organization has been relentlessly and selflessly working, dedicating itself to serve the people in various spheres. After having achieved accolades and recognition from various strata of the society the organization is planning to establish a 300 bed hospital to improve healthcare in rural areas.
